Is MarginLayer a PSA?
No. It is a commercial control layer focused on margin risk and invoice readiness between your tracker and accounting—not project management, resourcing, or full PSA breadth.
When is a PSA still the right choice?
When you need a full delivery operating system with broad resourcing, CRM, and billing in one suite—and accept a longer rollout with process migration.
Is MarginLayer a Timetta replacement?
No. Timetta is a domestic PSA. MarginLayer is a different class: a weekly path to invoice without replacing the tracker or becoming a 1C module. See Timetta vs MarginLayer for the named comparison.
Can we use MarginLayer together with Timetta or another PSA?
On a pilot, actual hours come one-way from a tracker or CSV. We do not promise a two-way PSA integration. If a PSA already covers the path to invoice, a separate layer is often unnecessary.
Do we have to migrate tasks out of Jira?
No. Write-back to the tracker is not required. Jira, Yandex Tracker, YouTrack, GitLab, or Bitrix24 stay the place for tasks and worklog; the layer reads actual hours.
